Welcome to Al’s Electrical LLC

           Al's Electrical LLC is a Marine Corps veteran-owned and operated business.  My electrical career started when I enlisted in the Marines during the First Gulf War's delayed entry program and shipped off to Paris Island on November 18, 1991.  I became a Marine Rifleman with a guaranteed military occupational specialty of Basic Electrician. 

          I served at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune with Second Radio Battalion.  I was tasked with wiring a mobile power distribution system to support our many forward operating bases in the field.   It included electrical power for water purification, refrigeration, communication systems, and temporary tent camps.  After three years, I completed my last year at Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan working in Marine Wing Support Squadron 171.         

          After about four years of service and an Associate’s Degree, I shipped home to Long Island, New York, where I had the opportunity to work under Master Electrician Steve Sussmann, now the owner of SJS Electric.  We specialized in commercial and residential work that included power distribution in medical facilities, factories, office buildings, and residential pools and residential buildings. 

          On May 4, 1998, I entered the New York State Police Academy, eventually relocating in 2001 to beautiful Kinderhook in Columbia County, New York.  I continued with an exciting and rewarding law enforcement career that later provided me with a 14 day a month work schedule.  It allowed me to continue the electrical trade and form Al's Electrical LLC in 2013. 

          I retired at the end of December 2021 and now have the freedom to grow Al's Electrical LLC alongside my eldest son Joshua and continue to provide my customers with integrity, reliability, value, and quality that shines.
